Boat rides

Since we have the little boat over here its so easy to just run out to the bay for a quick ride and back again.  Adam has been taking Finn and Sydney out for quick fishing trips or to drop the crab pots for some delicious eats!  We decided the girls needed to be introduced to the boat and have their 1st boat ride! With the wind in their hair and bright sunlight I think they spent most of the time blinking the annoyances away but they never once fussed and ended up falling asleep on the way home!  While we were out on the water Adam shut the boat off and we ate watermelon while talking about our favorite Christmas memories.  It was really sweet to hear the girls talk about "small" activities that ended up being "big" memories.  Funny how it happens that way.  Here are the pics I managed to take, and take note of how tiny Lauren looks against Sydney's hand. Maybe Adam's hat is throwing the proportions off too, hmm. She just looks small!

We asked the kids to smile for a family photo and Finn was very unhappy about sitting with all the GIRLS!  Here he is when asked:
