Stradbroke Island

What can we say?  This was our 10th yearly trip to our favorite island and despite me bearing through a ridiculously bad strep throat, it was spledid as usual.  We LOVE this place (and the people we go with too!)

Daddy loves Eden, Eden loves Daddy:

 We bought a little sand tent to shade the babies from the sun and spent most of the time in there, such a relief from the heat!

And the annual hike up the sand dune.  Here's Finn and Milla hiking away one little step at a time.  Such hard work.  Seriously.  This hill is big.

and after rolling down the hill:

 When we got to the top with the gorgeous view we noticed some really dark thick rain clouds quickly headed our way.  I got to the trees just in time to shelter the babes and wee ones under our make-shift tent.  The boys held the towel up while all the ladies bunkered under it.  Such great guys!

And Sydney never ceases to amaze me with her skills on the beach.  Here she is displaying her bunny kingdom with 5 sand bunnies, complete with seashell eyes and tails.  I love this girl!!!
