Soccer Mom

Sydney has been able to join the local soccer group this spring. Last year Adam and Sydney started kicking a soccer ball around and he realized she has a bit of a knack for it. When drawing names for Christmas it just so happened Finn drew Sudney's name and lo and behold, she unwrapped a soccer ball! They have been playing in the house and now that it is FIANLLY warm enough to venture outdoors, we have headed out to the fields to kick around. They had their first game on Thursday and we are so proud of our team for winning 5-0! I love how she smiles the whole time while running with "the pack" to kick the ball. We are now going to work on her courage skills to get in there and give it a WHACK!
