Ending of Fall Soccer

Both Kirra and Sydney were in fall soccer this year, Kirra's 1st season ever and Sydney's 3rd. It has been so much fun to see Sydney's growth and understanding of the game. This was the first season with a lack of "clusterball" formations and the team was more focused on positions and goals. I'll admit there were a few weekends of frustration and tears due to the lack of uniform misplacements and such...this is totally normal, right? And then there was a Saturday game that changed everything for the rest of the season. See this:

Pure magic. It brought tears to my eyes because our little family needed this. Tears of happiness and relief and of witnessing my "giving up soccer" child make her very first goal. Here's the start of more accomplishments...You were amazing Syd!
