Back to Loch Lomand

The next day we hosted some of our very favorite people at Loch Lomand for a day of golf, food, fun and a Loch Lomand spa experience. We met early on and enjoyed breakfast in the Spike bar (it is always delicious!), then the boys went to the course while the girlies went to the spa. I truly love the location of the spa! It is in the walled garden (think Secret Garden-esque) on the grounds and the gardens are always beautiful. They also have a huge greenhouse where they grow every thing from chilies to lemons and roses. We even sampled the cherry tomatoes and grapes, eeee! We all had a great day and I loved getting to know Fiona and Claire a bit better. So we have David and Laura, then David's sister Claire and her husband Tom, daughter Fiona (was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and has done amazing things agaisnt the odds. She was a riot!) and then Gareth and Kirsty Baird (from our visit last year to Manor Hill) whom we also adore!


Needless to say it was a day to remember. The guys had a great golfing round and we were able to enjoy our dinner outside on the patio in superb weather. We couldnt have asked for a better day, really.
