New York Trip, Niagara on the Lake and Canadian side

One morning we all drove out to this amazingingly beautiful little town called "Niagara on the Lake." It was one of those cute little towns Adam and I thought would be so much fun to come back and visit for a little holiday without the kidlets. We shopped and sampled at a specialty food store (which, as it turned out, was a highlight of the trip for most of us food lovers) and then Tami and Janell's family watched our kids while we boarded a jet boat with my mom and dad. My mom saw this little blurp about these jet boats a few years ago and really wanted to try it out. It was alot of fun! You go up the river and hit some of these white water waves in the boat and spin and do all kinds of little tricks. Just in case you didn't know, the Niagara Falls is considered a "6" on the scale of rapids...basically the highest rating ever and deemed "unsurvivable". So they take us up the river to these rapids and go full speed ahead and giving each member on the boat a nasal cavity flush! We were drenched and laughed a lot throughout the hour long ride. Then we headed back to watch janell's kids while they all went on the boat ride next. I took Sydney, Kirra, Finn, and Rylan to the butterfly conservatory for a little while before heading back to the hotel to clean up to head out again. We all had a great day though and the kids finally got to get wet and swim and the end of it!
